Master luthier Patrick Heaney established Heaney Violins to offer you, the string-playing community, “uncommon service” and great products at a fair price. As both purveyor of fine stringed instruments and your local neighborhood violin shop, Patrick Heaney is committed to his customers: “if we sell it, we repair it—right on the premises.” Our knowledgeable and skilled staff can help you find the instrument or accessory you need. Many of our staff perform actively and can demonstrate our violins, violas, and cellos.

Based in Mountain View, California, Heaney Violins has been serving the music community since 2005. In addition to fine instruments and bows, we carry cases and accessories as well, and offer full repair and rehair services. We will also install strings for free, including on instruments you bring into our shop.
